Automation

With the ever growing variety of systems in the modern home,  automation offers a unified and intelligent single control point.

There is a difference between intelligent and smart homes.

Smart is to know how to do something.

Intelligence is to also know when and how best to do it.

Our intelligent homes work for you, to make life simpler and better.

Lighting

Our considerable knowledge and experience in lighting gives us a unique understanding of what is required from controls.

While the same level of expertise in automation, gives us the ability to deliver this.

LED lighting is notorious for it’s demanding dimming. requirements

Our knowledge and experience gives us the ability to ensure that the dimming performance is the best achievable.

Our testing of products helps to ensure this, as does understanding the best dimming technology to use for a variety of luminaire types.

We are often asked by manufacturers to carry out dimming and compatability tests on new luminaires and KNX actuators.

All this gives our automation designs an additional edge.

The largest expenditure of energy in a home,  is the heating and cooling systems.

To reduce the energy consumption of a building, we employ advanced control techniques that maintain comfort while efficiently regulating heating or cooling.

The graph on the left shows a typical home with our advance heating control, the room temperature is in red, green indicates setpoint (target) temperature. The blue line is the calculated amount of heat needed to maintain optimum temperature.

This continuous monitoring and evaluation ensures efficiency and comfort, as can be seen by the heat demand averaging at approx. 10% demand.

Unified

Having intelligent control of your home’s lighting, HVAC, shading and more, will ensure that differing elements of the building are connected, controlled and managed.

The use of sensors, timers and logic further enhance the home and ensures it works with you and for you.

Who says you have to sacrifice intelligence, for aesthetics ?
